Please, see DVCC's social media for our weekly wish lists by searching #WishListWednesday. Due to the climate of Covid-19, we ask all items should be new and in packaging. This will allow our staff to disinfect items as they come into our center before they are given to a client in need.
In regards to the donation of other goods, we transition to our new "normal", we ask for patience. We know that like us, you have been in stand-still for what feels like forever. You have been cleaning your houses and putting aside items you hope to give new life to; a second chance. DVCC is all about second chances. We appreciate your hard work and dedication to our survivors. DVCC is currently accepting donations of clothing, household goods, and other like new items on a limited basis to keep our staff, shelter, and clients safe. Please, see the following protocol.
- We ask that you call our office at (701) 852-2258 to set up an appointment with our donor coordinator. This must be done in advance. Open appointments due to cancelations or no shows, will be given out on a first come first serve basis with priority given for those on our waitlist.
- Your items will be placed in 4 foot by 3 feet bin and stored for 3 days where they will then be sorted by our staff and then given to clients in-need.
- If these items do not fit in the bin, or you do not have an appointment in advance, your donations will be returned to you.
- Due to this protocol, the volume of goods we can process is significantly less than in the past.
Thank you for your understanding. Please, call our Minot office with any donations questions at (701) 852-2258.
