 nnings Campus programs. We have had a number of artists design and repurpo
 se wooden spoons. A wooden spoon is a simple item most of us have encounte
 red and have a memory of. However\, not all of us have the same memories\,
  some are positive and some are not. You may have cooked with a parent and
  have great memories of stirring spaghetti sauce with that loved one\, or 
 you may have something sad or scary associated with it. The artists use th
 e spoon as it is\, and add to it or change it\, and it develops a new iden
 tity much like the people who come to the DVCC New Beginnings Campus. We a
 lso have many pieces of original art that will be auctioned off to benefit
  the Domestic Violence Crisis Center.
